SAMS has the honor to announce the successful achievements of the first stage of the scholarship program.

A total of $35,000 has been raised! A total of $17,000 was approved to be delivered in this cycle for 5 recipients. The rest of the raised funds will go towards the next cycle.

SAMS would also like to congratulate the five applicants who were selected for this cycle’s loans under the SAMS scholarship program.

We hope that the recipients will become strong active members of the Syrian-American Medical Society and will extend their help to their younger colleagues in the future.

We would also like to announce that we are starting the preparations and the fundraising for the next cycle that will begin in August for applications acceptance and end in late September for the delivery of loans.

Now that the program has been launched with much success, we hope to have more support from all the Syrian-American medical society members in order to reach the needy, promising colleagues and encourage them to join our society and become active members. We hope that the compassion many of us have towards such colleagues materializes to a support pledge system through this program.
